Who can use FullDorm?
FullDorm is used mainly by and for students, faculty, and staff at colleges and universities in the Northeast. Local real estate agents also post available real estate opportunities in their respective geographic locations.
What if I forgot my username or password?
Your username is your complete school e-mail address (i.e. firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you forget your password, simply click the forgot your password link located in the log-in box, fill in your school e-mail address when prompted, and your password will be sent to your e-mail within a couple of minutes.
If you continue to have trouble retrieving your password, fill out the Contact Us form and we will work with you to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
How do I create a posting?
To create a post, you must be signed in to your account. Once you are signed in, navigate to the function that you want to post in (i.e. Classifieds, Rideshare, Campus Forum). Each function has its own menu of options located on the left side of the page. In each menu, there is a "create a post" button.
Am I allowed to post anything?
Can I edit my posting?
Yes. Once you log in, click "my account," then find your post and click "modify."
Do postings expire?
Yes, Classifieds Listings expire after 30 days, RideShare posts expire 1 day after their proposed "trip date," and each Campus Forum discussion expires after 60 consecutive days of inactivity.
Can I delete my posting?
Yes, but you must be logged in. When you find your post, there is a "delete" option. You can also click "my account" and when you find your posting, you have the option of deleting it from there.
Can I post anonymously and still receive responses?
For the most part, yes. The Campus Forum section requires that all posts and users identify themselves. However, if you post to the Classifieds Listings or RideShare sections, you have the option of remaining anonymous by having interested parties contact you via a contact form.
Can I post ads on FullDorm on behalf of others as a paid posting agent or posting service?
Can I add pictures to my posting?
Can I post to multiple schools?
Only students, faculty, and staff members are allowed to post to their respective institutions. Real Estate Agents are allowed to post available real estate at any institution.
What can I do if I feel someone has posted a scam or is posting illegal products or services?
FullDorm takes case of abuse very seriously. We cooperate fully with requests by law enforcement and school administration.
You may also send us an e-mail directly to email@example.com. In the subject line, please state the purpose for reporting the post. In the body of the e-mail please include the topic or item title, date posted, and under what school it is listed. Without complete details as to which post you are referring to, we are unable to take action.
How can I get FullDorm on my campus?
It's easy. Simply fill out the form in the Contact Us section with the name and location of your school and we will take it from there.
Where can I advertise my services/business on FullDorm?
Services and businesses can be advertised throughout the site. More specifically, the majority of ad space is located on all pages that contain user-generated content. To learn more about advertising opportunities, see our Advertising page.
